Gatlinburg Sky Lift

At a height of over 1,800 feet, you will have impressive views of the Smokey Mountains and the valley down below. While the scenery is incredible during the day, the entire area is especially beautiful when it is lit up at night.

There is a gift shop at the top of the mountain, and you can enjoy a variety of food and beverages while you are up there. You can also get a souvenir picture taken while you are in the lift.

Gatlinburg Space Needle


Gatlinburg Space NeedleThe Gatlinburg Space Needle is another way to see the city from above. You can ride to the top of this steel tower in a secure glass elevator and get an incredible panoramic view of the Smoky Mountains and the Gatlinburg area.

You can also enjoy a closer look at the scenery by using one of the many free view finders that are strategically placed around the observation deck. If you are interested in learning more about the area, you can listen to a detailed history of the Smokies and Gatlinburg while you are at the top.

If you are looking for some fun, there is an amusement park that is located at the base of the tower.

Ripley’s Believe It or Not Museum

This museum was the basis for the popular TV show of the same name and features rare and uncommon exhibits from all over the world. While you are here, you can view a variety of oddities, including a two-headed calf, a mermaid, a gigantic tire and a shrunken head. The museum has been around for over 90 years and is open daily.

Hillbilly Golf


Gatlinburg Hillbilly GolfHillbilly Golf is a zany miniature golf course that is built directly into the side of a mountain. If you are looking for a fun way to spend the day, you won’t want to miss this unique experience

To get to the beginning of the course, you must first ride the incline up the mountain. Once you arrive at the top, you can begin the game and work your way down to the bottom. The course’s distinct hillbilly theme includes old moonshine stills, outhouses and lots of twists and turns.
