Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah – Ouarzazate
Your adventure begins with an early pick-up from Marrakech, heading towards the stunning High Atlas Mountains. Be mesmerized by panoramic views of rugged terrain and traditional Berber villages along the way. Our first stop is the iconic Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its historical significance and cinematic appearances. After exploring this ancient fortress, we continue to Ouarzazate, known as the “Gateway to the Desert,” where you can relax and unwind.

Day 2: Ouarzazate – Skoura (Kasbah Amridil) – Rose Valley – Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga Sahara – Overnight in a Luxury Camp
After breakfast, we explore Ouarzazate, visiting the famous Atlas Studios and the historic Taourirt Kasbah. Next, we travel to Skoura, home to the picturesque Amridil Kasbah surrounded by lush palm groves. Day 3: Explore Merzouga Region – Nomads – Khamlia – Merzouga Lake – Erg Chebbi – Palm Grove
Awake to the breathtaking desert sunrise and embark on a day of exploration in the Merzouga region. Visit an ancient eyeliner mine and discover the culture of local nomadic communities. In Khamlia, enjoy a soulful performance of Gnawa music. After lunch, stroll through the palm groves and visit the peaceful waters of Merzouga Lake. Day 4: Merzouga Dunes – Erfoud – Midelt – Cedars Forest – Ifrane – Fes

We continue to Erfoud, famous for its fossil workshops, then travel through the scenic Ziz Valley to Midelt for lunch. Next, explore the majestic cedar forests of the Middle Atlas, home to diverse wildlife, including the endangered Barbary macaque. Our final stop is Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco,” before arriving in the imperial city of Fes for the night.

Day 5: Guided Tour of Fes
Today, immerse yourself in the rich history and culture of Fes. Our guided tour begins at the Royal Palace gate, followed by a stroll through the medieval medina’s winding streets. Visit vibrant souks, the famous Blue Gate, the ancient tanneries, and the historic Quaraouin mosque and university. After a full day of sightseeing, return to your accommodation and reflect on the captivating sights and sounds of this historic city.

Day 6: Transfer to the Airport
As your 6-day desert tour comes to a close, we bid farewell to Fes and transfer you to the airport for your departure.
